Finally I did it...I took my new gorgeous Chanel out to dinner...for my birthday....since it was my gift to myself...I cannot begin to explain the "love" I feel when I look at this wonderful beautiful handbag...I certainly know why I bought it and I have no regrets...just pure pleasure...I looked at my handbag as lovingly as I looked at the people that I love who helped me celebrate my special day....but what a great gift to myself I purchased...Everyone needs to do something..whatever it is...really special for themselves...

My Chanel is the most beautiful...when I am in the handbag section of a great dept. store, I still look at other purses...and I would love to add one of the new Pradas to my collection...but I haven't even finished paying for the Chanel....but I LOVE TO LOOK AT MY CHANEL...I must be weird but to me it is like a work of art and I just love to look at it...it's still too precious to use...soon...soon

OK...I have done it...I went and bought that Chanel...but I need to sell more to pay for it..so I have put another beautiful handbag on ebay...and then I may have to put another one on there as well....but I finally got that obsession out of my system....cannot go near designer handbag department for quite a while...too tempting...there are some other beauties available...the leather Prada is using this year is AMAZING...and so is the styling...if I hadn't been so obsessed with my Chanel I would've purchased one of those Prada purses...so I can't go near them until I have paid off my Chanel...I am a terrible window shopper...I got past instant gratification, but once I start obsessing over a purse...I simply must have it...to me they are like jewelry and art..and as expensive...just love gorgeous handbags...

Wow! I sold my fabulous old white Prada...it finally sold...persistence is the key...of course all that persistence cost money on ebay...but it's finished and done...and now I can indulge my passion for a new purse...yes, yes!

It happened...I sold the Bottega on ebay...now I just need to sell my old white Prada...why doesn't anyone want to buy that handbag...it is beautiful...

Well I have lived without my new white Prada handbag..the addiction has abated...but now...time to relist...holiday over and got some good hints from my mentor..so here we go again..now I am having a debate as to whether I wouldn't be better off buying a Chanel because they are so IN...I love them so much...but...there is the price...to do that I would need to sell another older Chanel that I love but don't use much...let's see what happens

OK...so I can't complete my obsession as quickly as I had hoped...nope, didn't sell either the Prada or Bottega on ebay...disappointed like crazy...next week when the holiday is completely over, I'll try again...something I read said more sales happen on ebay when the last sale day is a weekday..mine are frequently on weekends..due to work hours...oh well....

Guess what? Buyers remorse. So, no Chanel. Too much money. Haven't sold anything on ebay in the last couple of weeks. No extra money. But I can buy that Prada wallet I love. And speaking of Prada, they have a beautiful winter white soft, soft, soft leather handbag that feels great and looks great. And it is less expensive than Chanel. Should I or shouldn't I? I have wanted a this color for over a year. I thought I had walked through this obsession and come out the other side. Obviously not. Now what? I'll tell you what. I put 2 expensive designer bags on ebay and their sale or lack thereof will tell me yes or no to that Prada. Could I really be this fickle??

I am addicted to handbags, particularly Chanel. A couple of years ago I bought a beautiful leather Chanel that I fell in love with in a dept. store. Actually, it was love at first sight. Now I do not have disposable income to pay for Chanels. But I did have a not very large engagement ring, but just large enough. You guessed it. I sold my engagement ring to pay for the Chanel. My husband, at the time, was quite naturally rather unhappy with my priority. Needless to say, we are no longer together. But I have my Chanel. Now how far will one go for these handbags. But I have my Chanel. Now how far will one go for these handbags. How far is too far? Do I need a 12 step program. Maybe. Yesterday, I was in that same department store for the purpose of writing about that wonderful high I get around designer handbags. I also wanted to see what's in style for summer and what's coming in for the fall. Anyway, I spotted this large and roomy and elegant Chanel that did me in. I couldn't resist. Here's the glitch. I haven't got the money to pay for it. So now what do I do. Back to ebay to sell that Chanel that I bought with my engagement ring. Not enough money for that handbag. I have a beautiful python Bottega that I can sell but who knows for sure how much money I can get for either purse. The point is I must have this purse. I don't care about shoes or clothes and obviously not jewelry, but this purse has my name written on it along with the CCs.

I sold it...I sold it...very exciting...2 beautiful Chanel handbags will now have homes where they will be used and appreciated. This is great. And I sold both of them for about half of what I paid years ago. I wouldn't do any better with jewelry.

What an experience! In the past I have asked friends to put my designer handbags on ebay for me. One sold at too low a price (in my opinion) and one didn't sell at all. Then I took an additional handbag to an ebay seller who allegedly had all the experience and could get me the best price and he said he couldn't get me much money without the original sales slip. They had disappeared long ago. These handbags were 8 to 15 years old and the sales slips had disappeared through various moves.
I signed up for a course to teach me to make money online. So ebay selling was my first assignment and I had to sell something of my own. I was sure I would mess it up but because my mentor seemed to know his business, I decided to try to sell one of my old designer handbags. Of course, I had no sales slip. It was sort of a lark. I never expected it to sell. I put my opening price in at the lowest I was willing to accept. I went through all the steps. Nothing happened. My mentor had not yet seen my description of this purse. He had told me to make it personal and special, but I followed most of the other handbag listings on ebay and kept it simple and very short. Well, when this teacher of mine started to make corrections by finding other designer bags that had sold. I realized that my description was not inviting. I decided I had better take his advice and do the same with my handbag. I did. I sold it for well over the bottom price and felt really proud of myself. I had learned to use a digital camera, download pictures, upload pictures, write copy, follow directions; even had an online dialogue with an ebay advisor and so much more. Most importantly, I saw I could do something online that formerly had been overwhelming. Now I was so excited I went out and did it again. I have another handbag on ebay and I am waiting for it to sell. It is really simple. Ebay is really helpful and what it took was someone who taught me how to "fish for myself" instead of handing me the fish. Okay, he did teach me what to do, BUT I DID IT. Great experience.
