Let's Talk About Oversize Handbags
As a huge fan of oversized handbags, I can certainly talk about the benefits of taking everything I could possibly need with me for the day and possibly evening; I have everything from aspirin to extra contact lenses in my purse. I even carry a small umbrella with me on a cloudy day. I am prepared for almost any eventuality. Of course, searching for my keys or the ringing telephone can be a nightmare unless I have a place for everything, so here are a few tips to help us all.
#1 Prioritize the contents of your purse: pay attention to what you actually use and what you just leaving sitting in there. You probably don't use 25% of the items in your handbag. You need to clean it out once a week or so if you don't change your purse often. #2 You need a key fob or a place where you can always keep your keys! Maybe it's a special compartment or if all else fails, put your keys in a little case like a make up case; just to save yourself that endless hunt in that oversized handbag. #3 Get a pouch for the essentials; you can get one large pouch or a number of smaller ones so that if you want to change your handbag to a smaller one for evening you don't have to handle every tiny item by itself to change purses. #4 Keep a large wallet: if you just need to run to the store your money, credit cards and checks can all be in one place and you can just take your wallet and, of course, your keys. Sometimes a large handbag is just not necessary. I am sure there are lots more tips for those of us who love these large handbags, but these are some of the things that really help me organize and stay organized. Let's face it, life is very busy and we need to be as organized as possible to save time and frustration.
